PhD student Ole Klein presented the interim clinical results from an ongoing clinical study “Treatment of advanced periodontitis using an oscillating chitosan brush with or without a chitosan-lactic acid gel – a randomized parallel arm clinical trial” at the IV International Congress “Memorial Cattabriga” (Sapienza University of Rome, Rome) February 1st 2024.
 
His conclusions were:
Within the limits of the present study, it is concluded that; –
  • Both treatments resulted in statistically significant improvements in all evaluated clinical parameters
  • The adjunctive subgingival application of Labrida GeliX™ to Labrida BioClean® yielded statistically significant better improvements compared to Labrida BioClean® alone
