The Company
Labrida BioClean® is a CE-marked, patented chitosan brush used by clinicians and dental professionals for maintenance of dental implants and/or teeth.
Labrida BioClean® is sold to dental clinics in several markets in Europe. Through a milestone distribution agreement and partnership with Straumann (www.straumann.com), Labrida expects to face substantial growth in distribution and sales of Labrida BioClean® going forward.
Labrida is a privately held company with 39 shareholders and holds its headquarter in Oslo, Norway.

Liv Østbye (MBA in Strategic Management)
Østbye holds more than 20 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry, with several commercial roles within sales/marketing and general management from AstraZeneca. Both on a national and Nordic level. Last assignment in AZ was Sales Director for the Nordics in a range of prescription drugs, both launched and preparing new products for launch. For the last 7 years, Østbye has been at Avonova Health. The responsibilities in Avonova has been strategy, business development and general management. Avonova offers services within occupational healthcare, rehabilitation and private health with 1500 employees in the Nordics. She joined Labrida on May 1 st 2023 after having been CEO for the last 4 years in Avonova.

Anne Christophersen (MSc)
Christophersen holds a Masters in Cell Biology and has 10+ years of industrial experience in various positions, last as Vice President BioScience (research products) at Dynal AS (now Thermo-Fisher, Inc.). Christophersen joined Labrida in 2014.

Caspar Wohlfahrt (PhD, DDS, MSc, Specialist in Periodontology)
Wohlfahrt holds a part time position as Associate professor at University of Oslo, Institute of clinical dentistry, focusing his post-doctoral work on management of peri-implant disease (which is also core for his PhD thesis). Further, he maintains private practice activities as a periodontist, and is a widely used lecturer for dentists on dental implants. Previously, Wohlfahrt has worked as product specialist at Biora AB (now Straumann AG), and is a patent holder of the product TiBrush™, marketed by Straumann. Caspar Wohlfahrt is the inventor of Labrida BioClean®.
QA/QC Manager in Labrida AS
Tone Væråmoen
More than 25 years of experience from the industry, whereas more than 16 years from Pharmaceutical products, as well as Medical Devices, Food Supplements, Cosmetics and Dental Care. Main responsibilities have been as a manager within Quality Management and Quality Assurance in production sites, mostly finished pharmaceutical products and APIs, qualification/validation, technical transfer, regulatory CMC, etc. Approved Lead Auditor with audits performed in a variety of areas.

Kristine Grønstad
Master's degree in Biotechnology. 6 years work experience as a laboratory engineer and laboratory employee. Broad expertise with microbiological analyses of water and foodstuffs and expertise in producing monodisperse polymer particles. Good experience as a laborant with the preparation of different biological samples on different instruments.

Emilie Lasson (PhD)
Lasson is currently Senior Vice President in NorthSea Therapeutics, a Netherland Biotech company developing therapies for metabolic, inflammatory and fibrotic diseases. She has more than 25 years from the Health Care Industry in positions covering both research, innovation and commercialization in companies Dynal/Thermo Fischer, Alpharma/Xellia, Sero AS, Pronova/BASF and Genetic Analysis AS. She currently holds several board positions, two in the Norwegian Research Council (Life Science portfolio board, Digital Life Norway) as well as in the company Pre-Diagnostics AS. She holds a Masters Degree from NTNU and received her PhD in Chemistry in 1995 from the University of Oslo.

Svein Harald Øygard (MBA)
Svein Harald Øygard is an entrepreneur, advisor and investor. He has worked as an advisor for e.g. Sparabank 1 Markets since 2017. He holds experience from McKinsey & Co for about 20 years, also leading McKinsey’s subsidiary in Norway. He served clients in the industry, energy, finance, health and the public sector segments. He was also interim Central Bank Governor of Iceland after the 2008 financial crisis and Deputy Minister of Finance of Norway 1990-94.

Henrik Jansson (PhD, DDS, Specialist in Periodontology)
Jansson has more than 25 years of experience form dentistry in both Norway and Sweden, including clinical dentistry, higher education and research and development. He received his PhD in periodontology in 2006 from Malmö University and became Docent in 2014 at Malmö University. He combines a solid scientific background with strong leadership and communication skills. Today he is Director for the specialist dental care and research at Folktandvården Skåne AB, Sweden.
